She's my most coordinated child so I rarely worry about her falling, but because she loves to climb so much I guess it was inevitable. Miah fell and did a doosey on her arm last Tuesday night. A compound fracture in the forearm that required surgery to correct. You can see in the picture below the spot where the bone had actually poked through the skin. Poor baby!
Through it all she managed a smile after the 3 hour ER visit. What a champ.
No swimming or cheerleading for 6 weeks, but you can't beat all the attention she's getting! Thanks everyone for yhe well wishes!
