Abbey's planes

So deja-vous from last year when Ethan was in 2nd grade. Abbey chose to make the same product that Ethan did last year for their Goods and Services Day at school. She made it her own though with some cool Hannah Montana and High School Musical airplanes that sold quickly! They get to purchase each others item for 25 cents (fake money) so Abbey came home with a lot of fun things that her classmates made. Awesome job Ab!

The Derby

Well our first Pinewood Derby was a success. I will admit that I was a little nervous about how competitive it was going to be because at the weigh-in last Wednesday there were parents with glueguns, extra weights and their son's car's wrapped in bubble wrap....but my concerns were unwarented. Those same parents ended up offering up weights to Ethan and I because our car came in WAY under the 5 ounce limit and they came to our rescue so we wouldn't come in dead last! The night of the race everyone was very sportsman-like and no-one freaked out when they didn't win, not even me:).
Ethan's car came in 3rd in three of the heats, but on the 4th heat he came in 1st! He didn't make it to the finals but he didn't care, it was a lot of fun.

He was so proud to get the "most futuristic car" award. Thanks to Dallas for helping him build such a cool car!

Kaylie's sealing

I had the privilege of finally meeting this little part of my heart this weekend. This is Kaylie and everything about her reminds me of how much Heavenly Father loves my sister Julie. Six months ago Kaylie's birth mother had the courage to complete a miracle in progress by giving her up for adoption. Last Saturday Kaylie was sealed to her Mommy and Daddy in the Bountiful Temple for eternity and words can't describe how beautiful it was. I love you little Kaylie and miss you already!

At the Temple

Such a perfect day!

Man I love these guys!

Indoor soccer at the YMCA

Dallas coached Miah's indoor soccer team this season and had a lot of fun!! The kids loved him and would always yell out "Bye Coach Dallas!" They had a great little team.

Miah's super aggresive and I think, one of the best players. I am a little bias though.

She scored a goal!!!!

Pizza and cupcake party to celebrate a great season! Way to go team Lightning!

Capri's or pants?

Miah has these cute little Old Navy capri's that she wears all the time, they are actually size 3T, but that's not unusual for her to be wearing smaller sizes. She's so skinny~! Well one day I accidently put them in Ellie's laundry pile and on that same day Dad just happened to be dressing her, so hey what cute pants you have Ellie.

Yes they fit both waists, granted that Ellie has a diaper and an awesome baby gut, but she's 16 months and Miah's 5!! They have the same waist size and here's the shot to prove it!!
