This is how our vacation to Utah began, in the car. We got up at 4am and carried the kids to the car half asleep hoping that sleep would take up the first 3 hours of our 14 hour drive to Colorado. It didn't take long for the excitement to begin though because of Sister Jackson's goodie bag! Sister Jackson is my visiting teacher and a surrogate Grandma to my kids. She had wrapped presents, color coded and numbered them for certain milestones along the way that the kids could take turns opening. These silly glasses were one of the surprises and the other prizes and goodies were so much fun. Sister Jackson is an angle because this helped so much with the long drive!

Great job posting! I loved reading all about your trip and all your pictures we SO cute! I MISS YOU TONS! It was so great being able to spend time together and have fun. Hey how about a trip to Disney Land? I'll pretent like I don't bring that up every time :) We do want to come out to Texas sometime too! I can't wait to see you again! Love you guys!

Thanks for the memories on my blog! I actually just ran across the picture of you trying to jump the sheet a couple of days ago! I LOVE IT! So I am going to leave my memories of you on your blog instead of my own.
What can I say...to many to name. And they are all good ones! Here's my list of classic memories:
1. Taking Ethan to Peter Brienholt when he was only 2 weeks old.
2. Meeting swedish fish guy at the New Years Eve celebration.
3. Sleeping in your van in Manti after the pageant.
4. My 26th birthday when Ethan brought me 26 balloons! Or the next day when one of them flew away and he was so sad that I cried!
5. Justin Nolette baptism...ok ALL the baptisms!
6. Singing "Did You Think To Pray" more times than I can remember.
7. Finding one of the greatest friends I will ever have!

What a fun family trip!! Ellie looks like a happy camper with her sucker! Sis. Jackson and I must've read the same article on road trips with kids 101. It's a life saver!!! They look like they had so much fun!! I love all your family pictures~ it makes me miss our extended family!! We're glad you guys are back.
How lucky are you to have Sister Jackson? She is so awsome!!! It looks like you had a blast. Good to have you back. How was Abby's baptism?
