So this post is a little out of order but we went back and forth a lot between the two families on the 24th of July. This was a fun party in Dallas' Aunt Sherry's neighborhood that we crashed. They had a snow cone machine and a cotton candy machine that was obviously a hit. Abbey discovered that if you stand down wind from the cotton candy machine you could catch scraps as they flew through the air. Oh if you could have seen the snarls in her hair that night!!
After the dinner we went to a private fireworks showing in my sister-in-laws husbands brother's neighborhood, ok so it was pretty cool to be invited. I've never experienced fireworks quite like that before, can you say sensory overload?!! I love Papa's face in this one.

I was so afraid that Ellie was going to freak out because the fireworks were so loud, but she just kept saying "pretty!" and pulled my hands off her ears! Fun times.
