Ellie turned 18 months old this week and has officially started nursery....hurray! She totally loves it, she didn't cry one bit and Dallas actually got to go to his church classes. He's been a hall dweller for the past 6 months since I always have to be in Primary and so he's appreciating this step far more than I am I'm sure.
I took Ellie in for her 18 month Well Check visit and she's 24 lbs(60%),and something inches tall, I can't remember, it's written down somewhere though:), but she's healthy and super smart. You can see from this footage that she's starting to say some words, and how exciting for Abbey that one of those words is "A-bee!" That was one of Ethan's first words too. She was saying "Baby" a lot one day and we helped her switch that around to say Abbey and it's so cute. I just have to say how grateful I am for her, she has just completed our family in such a beautiful way. Just this afternoon when Miah got hurt and was screaming, Ellie came over and gave Miah the biggest hug and totally made it better like not even Dallas or I could have.
Back when I took Ellie to Utah with me for a weekend in March, Ethan realized how much he missed her being there to cheer him up. The night Ellie and I got home it was so late that Ethan was already in bed and the next morning she was asleep when he left for school, so as soon as he got home from school, he burst in the front door and said, "Where's Ellie?" and he went straight to her for some loves!
She cheers us all up often with her little giggles and kisses. Anyway, here's a cute video of her, hope you enjoy!
