Ethan's first year at Middle School was a huge success! I just wanted to brag a little at what he's good at because I'm so proud of him. He was one of four Bassoonists in the 6th grade band and sat in 1st chair almost the whole year (even though he's the 3rd seat over in this picture). This was their final concert of the year and they did a great job. He'll be joining the 7th grade honor's band in the fall which is the "best band" according to him:)
Ethan pulled off some sweet grades this year too which I thought I'd include just for the Grandparents sake. He also got "Commended" on all 3 of his TAKS test.

One more thing, Ethan will be turning 12 this summer and will be going to scout camp next week for the first time! He's so excited to go but I'm afraid I'm going to miss that kid! Five and a half days away from your Mama is along time! I love him so much but am a little lot afraid of how fast he's growing up!
In Ethan's spare time he's either reading (the Alex Rider series in this picture), playing games with me, taking care of his sisters, playing any sport (soccer and football are his fav's), air hockey with friends, playing sword fighting on the Wii, or riding his rip stick.
I couldn't ask for a better kid.
