The day that Miah had been counting down to for months finally arrived! She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Saturday November 6th. It was a perfect day. Here she is in her new dress all really to go with Mom and Dad. She was so excited!
Grandma and Grandpa Baker flew all the way from Utah to see her get baptized!
When we got to the church she and Dallas got all dressed in their white clothes.
Here's all four of my beautiful kids together on this special day. Those are 4 of my BIGGEST treasures in life right there on that couch. I love to see them love and support each other.

And then, again with the towel, but this time all wet! She did it! She was so clean inside it shined through her eyes! I'll never forget that moment when she walked up those stairs to me after having made that covenant with her Heavenly Father and I got to wrap her in that towel and in my arms. She was so happy and so was I.
After the baptism I got to help her dry off and get her dressed and ready to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. She had a whole Relief Society room full of ward members attending to see her and her friend Matthew get baptized that day. We seriously have the best ward and had so many people who love Miah come to support her, we call them our adopted family. Here she is hugging her sweet friend Sister Jackson.
Miah was so happy so happy she just had to pick up Ellie and give her a big squeeze!
I'm so proud of you Miah for the great choice you made to be baptized! I love you so much and will always cherish the memory of this sweet day!

How can it be 8 years already? Again, crying crying crying! Please tell Miah congrats from her AZ buddies, we are so proud of her choice to make the choice to be baptized. Oh and tell her we said "Miah hee, Miah hoo, Miah ha, Miah ha ha".
Absolutely Adorable!!! What a sweetheart. You have a beautiful family. So sad that I missed seeing you in August. Call us when you are up again!

Oh my sweet Miah, I love ya girl! I am so wishing I could have been there! I am so happy and proud of you! And really, how is it that you are already 8??? I hope you had a great birthday!
