We've been here in this house for 3 years and we are FINALLY getting the kids rooms painted. Since school was out and the kids were around to "help" me we thought now was the perfect time. I was nervous about the drips so I laid down tons of tarps, but actually the kids were a big help! They covered a lot of wall in no time and all I had to do was follow them and touch up. OK fine, I did freak out a few times when it got on the carpet, but nothing a little Miracle Goo can't fix.

So this is the finished product of Miah and Ellie's room. The color is actually light green even though it looks yellow here. It turned out super cute I thought.
Next, here's Abbey painting her room purple.

What a difference a little bit of color makes! All the kids love their new rooms and I'm so happy they're done. 3 rooms in 3 days, not bad!
Now if we can just do the game room upstairs we'll be done! Oh yea, and the Master bedroom, and both bathrooms upstairs.... ha ha, let's admit it, I'll never be done. Maybe in another 3 years!

They all look great! We just painted the kid's rooms too. When we painted things in the last house before we moved, we thought it was a shame that we waited so long to do it and promised that wouldn't be the case with the new house. But boy, we are slow...

their rooms look so inviting with those colors! i remember painting the garage as a kid. it really was so much fun. lol
