Today was Abbey's birthday and guess what she got??...............
A NEW ROOM!
Ellie used to sleep in here in the crib and Abbey used to share with Miah, but Ellie has been kicked out and Abbey is moving in! (No I didn't iron the bed skirt so stop thinking that I should have:)
Here she is this morning seeing it for the first time. I had so much fun putting it all together in the middle of the night. I think she was pretty surprised!
She loves it.
She's 9 today in the ninth month of 2009. I think it'd be so cool to have a birthday in the millennium year like she does. She'll be 10 in 2010, and 11 in 2011 etc. She'll never forget how old she is! I love you Abbey and I'm so glad your little 3lb body made it to our world 9 years ago!

Happy Birthday Abbey! I love you! (Even though you probably barely remember who I am). I can't believe it has already been 9 years. Sheryl, I love that you stayed up and put her room together during the night for her to wake up to! You are so awesome!
Ok, and just yesterday Jeff and I were talking about when Abbey was born. Not realizing that it was actually her birthday.
Sheryl, you are so funny....I would not iron a bed skirt either! What a fun birthday for Abbey! I love the purple bedding :) My Morgan was born in the millennium year also, she'll be 10 January 18 2010!!

Happy Birthday Abbey! I will never forget the day you were born and how little you were! I remember it like it was yesterday. What a darling new room! Great job Sheryl, Way to be the coolest mom ever staying up all night to put it together! I like the bed skirt just the way it is :) my iron is my worst enemy. It was so good talking to you today! Miss you so much! I'm sure I'll be calling you again soon...we forgot to talk about Wicked, and Catching Fire (Hunger Games sequal) so much to talk about! Luv ya!
