I decided to take some pictures of the kids reading because the books they are each into say so much about them and their stage of life. Ethan is reading big fat books like "Fablehaven" and "Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo". How did he get so big and smart? He now prefers reading to watching movies, just like his Mom.
Abbey totally loves the Junie B. Jones books. These are the first "chapter" books that she's gotten into and can finish one cover to cover in a few hours. What a great reader!
Miah is learning to read!!! There's something about watching a child start to read, one sound at a time they start to see a whole new world unfold before them on the page. She's doing great and wants me to help her practice everyday.
Even Ellie loves books, "Baby Faces" is one of her favorites. She loves to turn the pages herself and talk to all the babies. She's not saying too many words yet, just "ouch" and "ah-oh" when she drops something(which is often). She's 15 months old now and is growing way too fast for my liking.
