So I've been tagged by Julie, but I'm afraid my life is not nearly as interesting as hers, anyway here's what you do. List 7 things about yourself, favorites, dislikes etc. whatever you want really. Then if you get tagged at the bottom then it's your turn, hey if I can find the time to do it than you can too :) It's fun to learn new things about each other right?
1. My favorite thing to do lately is play with my kids in the pool. It's so much fun to throw them up in the air with huge smiles on their faces and have them swim back to you begging for more. Ok so I can't throw Ethan, but the girls at least. Even Ellie loves the lift up in the air (I don't let go of course), her smile is huge and then she gives me the biggest wettest kiss on the chin and sometimes blows a zerbert while she's at it!!
2. The most influencial book I've read recently has got to be 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families by Stephen Covey. I'm actually only on habit 6 right now but so far this book has been so amazing for me in helping me wrap my mind around this parenting business. It's full of such freeing information that has made me say "ah-ha" more than a few times.
3. My favorite web-site of the week is www.pandora.com, it's an on-line radio that you can listen to any type of music that you select any time for free. You can even request a specific artist and it will play other artists similar to them (same genre). Very cool, check it out.
4. Things I don't like: waking up early, whinning, snakes in my back yard (yes there has been one, a big one), long stop lights, being late, the sound of cracking knuckles.
5. Favorite ice cream: COOKIES AND CREAM!!!! yum, Favorite pizza: Cheese, cheese and more cheese please, Favorite drink: virgin strawberry daquari, Favorite tv show: LOST.....did Charlie really have to die? :), Favorite hymn: How Great thou Art, Favorite vacation: Neuvo Vallarta, Mexioco
6. Most embarassing moment: it's still gotta be falling down the stairs after recieving my Certification award as a Missionary, in the chapel in front of 3 zones of missionaries. The Pres. said, "Boy, we really brought her to her knees!". Good one.
7. Most daring thing I've ever done: Jumping off a 70 foot cliff into Lake Powell. I still get nervous thinking about how I was able to convince myself to go first (Sarah, Laura and Nick were soon to follow). I mostly did it to say that I'd done it, it actually really hurt and I'd never do it again, he he. What an adrenaline junkie I used to be, now I just get my kicks checking other people's blogs all day, ha ha. Hey if you don't have a blog you should really get one, they're so fun!!
I'm tagging: Sally Wright, Angie Johnson, Megan Thueson, and whoever else wants to! Don't forget to post the rules for the next person and keep it going!
